Advice for an idian girl (Homework p32 number 2 )

I am Raphael from Austria and i read your blog entry. I`m living in an sympathetic society, so i have no idea how it is to be forced to "love" someone. I bet the idian culture is a really big deal for your dad isn´t it ?
You also seem to love your dad. So what could you do. I think you should try to talk to your mom about that because she knows the best how it is to marry somone you don´t know. Maybe she will help you to convince your dad. I am sure that your dad just want the best for you. Maybe because he is very happy with your mother and he thinks that love comes during the wedding and it is not necessary for a wedding. But you just marry somone because you love him and not to try to love him. Maybe yould make a compromise with your dad. You can go out with the guy you should marry and maybe he is a good guy. But if you don´t like him you don´t have to marry him. Because you can´t marry somone you don´t love because a marriage is all about love. If you try to make it clear that you will be very unhappy if you have to marry him. I am sure your dad will realize that an arranged marriage is no option, because no dad wants to see his daugther unhappy.
